Water treatment plant in City of Turku

Hydraulic dredging of sediments was required from an inlet settling basin at water treatment plant. Over time the basin had filled with sediments and needed a filtering.

Suction Dredging was used as a method while it allowed the plant operations to continue un distracted. A new dredging device was developed to speed up the cleaning process even further.
